What is so unique about being a Liverpool supporter for your members? All these events make OLSC Bangladesh an incredibly vibrant and engaging community.

Another fan favourite is our annual football tournament called Clash of the Kopites (also known as COTK). Liverpool FC's official sponsor Standard Chartered also hosts several community engagement events here, which allowed fans to interact with LFC legends like John Barnes, Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler and hopefully many more to come in the future. Matchday meets for weekend games are a common sight, while special large-scale screenings are also hosted for derby matches and finals. It's this sense of unity, togetherness and spirit to never give up no matter what that makes OLSC Bangladesh a great community to be a part of.ĭo you hold any special events throughout the season, or meet-ups for games?Įvery year OLSC Bangladesh organises fan events and meet-ups both during the season and during breaks. While Anfield is Liverpool's home, our community plays a vital role in making everyone feel welcome and creating an atmosphere that makes OLSC Bangladesh a home away from home for the Liverpool fans in this country. They say home doesn't refer to a place but can be the people and the memories that you make. How special is it to have a feel of 'Liverpool' despite being in Bangladesh? Currently we have a huge digital presence with a Facebook page that has around 8,000 followers and more active members in the dedicated Facebook group as well as on both Instagram and Twitter. In 2013, OLSC Bangladesh became the first ever fan community in this country to be officially recognised by a European football team. She opened a Facebook group which started with a handful of members but then quickly bloomed to a dedicated community of over thousands of members. We came into being when a young Bangladeshi fan named Rodella Chowdhury decided to bring the entire Liverpool fan community together under one digital umbrella. OLSC Bangladesh has been the pioneering community for all Liverpool fans in Bangladesh since its inception in 2011.
